We’ve all heard of Ashley Madison before. You’ve either seen the commercials on tv, the ads online, or even heard it come up in conversation. It’s probably the most well known affair site that’s out there. But is it only popular in name? Does it actually work? Is Ashley Madison legit or just another fake dating site? I’ll tell you in my review.
Credibility (aka Chance of a Hook Up)
As usual, I like to start with the most important part of any site. What are the chances of a hook up? In this case, can you actually meet someone on AshleyMadison.com? If you’re a married woman or married man, will you find that person to have an affair with?
Yes. But only after some time.
Look, I’m just being honest. This site works. You can find a date, but you do have to weed through a bunch of fake profiles. If you can get past that aspect, then I think you’ll be happy with this site. Because there are real women here. Good looking women. It just takes a little time to find them. Now if you’re trying to have a discreet affair, then you should be okay with that concept. You don’t want to find some random, crazy person that’s going to wreck your marriage.
So in regards to quality of the people on the site, it’s good. And the response rate is pretty high too. I’d say close to about 70% of people you contact will write you back. That’s great for any dating site. But this site’s membership is a lot more men than women. So if you’re a guy, you have to be okay with some competition.
What features does AshleyMadison.com offer? A lot of it is the typical stuff you’d get from any dating site. You get to create a profile, respond to/initiate messages, chat, etc. But what you’ll appreciate the most is the site’s discretion. That’s the bonus of using this dating site compared to others. You can keep certain photos of yourself private, so you don’t have to worry about pictures of your anatomy getting shown to the world.
How much does a membership on Ashley Madison cost? Well, first, there’s the free user. For that you can sign up, look around, respond to messages that people send to you, send winks, etc. The typical thing.
(And if you’re a woman, the site is basically free for you since all you’ll be doing is responding to messages.) In order to initiate messages and chats, that’s where the paid part comes in (for all men using the site). Instead of having monthly charges, you have to purchase credits.
The intro package with 100 credits costs $50 and the elite package with 500 credits costs $150, so on and so forth. The number of credits determines what you get on AshleyMadison.com. For instance, for 5 credits you can contact someone, but after that point all contact with them is free. For 30 credits, you can have 30 minutes of instant messaging with another member. It sounds a little wonky, but at least with buying credits, you’re more in control of your membership. And you can quit at any time.
The unique thing about the site is that they actually offer a full refund. How many other dating sites can say that? Seriously, after three months if you weren’t able to successfully have an affair, you can get all your money back. Granted, there is some criteria you have to meet first, but that’s still a solid deal.
That’s pretty much my Ashley Madison review. If you’re married and you’re looking for a discreet affair, this is the site for you. It works and you get your monies worth. That’s really all that matters. So as a cheating husband or cheating housewife, you can find plenty of options on this site.
